What do I do if I find a leak?
Immediately turn off the water source. Find some towels to clean up some of the initial water leak. If the damage is extreme, consider turning off the power to the house. Move any home items out of the path of the water. CALL US!
Why is smoke residue dangerous?
Uncleaned smoke residue can actually act as a fuel to a future fire. It’s extremely important to check for any residue that may have traveled to other rooms, even if they were not directly involved with the fire.
How long will it take to dry out my property after a fire?
Depending on the type of water damage, it can typically takes up to 4 days. Some damage may take longer.
Do you work with insurance companies?
Yes! Every policy is different, but most policies cover disaster damage.
How do I know if I have mold?
You might notice a some areas in your home with moisture or condensation. This could mean there is moisture trapped inside a surface. Other signs would include stained walls or visible mold growth. In order to prevent respiratory illness, do not attempt to clean it up yourself. Give us a call and we can do a full assessment.
How can I prevent mold from growing in my home?
Keep the humidity anywhere between 40-60% in your home. Make sure bathrooms and kitchens have sufficient ventilation, as they are the most vulnerable.
What sort of damage should I look for after a storm?
A storm can bring a whole array of damage including leaky roofs, flooding, and damaged windows. We can inspect, clean and repair residential and commercial properties.
